Rootjes Car Rental is a family-owned car rental company in Curaçao, founded in 2025 with a simple idea: car rental should be about more than just handing over the keys.

For us, service and quality are at the heart of everything we do. We want you to feel comfortable, looked after and confident from the moment you book your car until the moment you return home.

When You Rent With Us, You’re Part of the Family

Curaçao is a beautiful place to visit, but we believe that what makes a holiday truly special is how you feel while you’re here.

That’s why we treat our customers the way we would want our own family to be treated. We’re here to help, answer your questions and make sure your car rental experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible.

One of our customers described this perfectly in a review. When she found herself in a difficult situation during her holiday, we immediately stepped in to help. She told us that it felt like having family at your holiday destination.

That is exactly what we want Rootjes Car Rental to be.

Not just a company you rent a car from, but someone you can count on when you’re on Curaçao.

Quality & Personal Service

We take pride in offering reliable cars and personal service. As a family business, every customer matters to us. We don’t want you to feel like just another booking number — we want to get to know you and make your stay on Curaçao a little easier.

Whether you need help with your rental car, have a question about the island or simply need a helping hand, you can always reach out to us.

When you rent a car from Rootjes Car Rental, you’re not just renting a car. You’re joining the Rootjes family.
